As time went by, my perception of events started to change, much like during the deep stage of REM sleep where an alternate reality is formed and one can no longer distinguish between being asleep and awake. There were moments of lucid dreams where time seemed to pass at a different pace, experiencing dreams that felt like the span of an entire lifetime in different settings. I journeyed across various multiverses with multiple outcomes, assuming different roles not only for myself but also for my family and friends. Some of these dreams unraveled in scenarios where the coronavirus never occurred, others where the disease didn’t spread, and yet others where personal, familial, and individual roles were completely different. The possibilities were so vast that I had the impression of having lived not just for an eternity, but multiple eternities with diverse results depending on the roles of individuals and the events in each of these realms.
I remember in those scenes being sick in various multiverses; in the first one, I was cared for by sisters from some Catholic order where I felt profound loneliness, even though I was in the company of multiple patients. In another one, I was bedridden in a hospital that seemed more like a hotel than a hospital, very luxurious, where a friend with a staff featuring the effigy of a golden dragon, which he unscrewed from his staff and commanded the hospital staff in a authoritative voice to attend to me immediately, «an interesting symbol, the golden dragon, for the Wuhan virus epidemic.» In that hospital, a small elderly Asian man appeared to me, cleaning the instruments in the intensive care unit, and he would say to me as he approached, «do not breathe through the ventilation tube, simply receive the energy that comes through the air to heal.»
In an alternate reality, I was in a hospital being attended to by military and naval personnel. I was conscious but unable to move as I was restrained. I pleaded with the nurses and doctors to untie me so I could have control of my arms and legs. I remember feeling a strong dose of medication being administered intravenously. Immediately after receiving the medication, I sensed a bright white light that enveloped me completely and transported me to my home. It was at that moment I felt myself disconnecting from my body and traveling through the mirror in front of my bed. I could see the profound sadness in my wife’s face. I felt like I was floating and projecting myself as a completely transparent entity through my thoughts. I said to my wife, «My love, I’m leaving now.» Her response came in the form of a scream filled with deep sadness and a pain that emanated from the depths of her soul. She cried out, «Don’t leave me, what am I going to do without you?» Suddenly, the light abruptly took hold of me and brought me back to the intensive care unit. This was the first time I experienced a detachment from my body and its projection to another place. When I regained consciousness much later, I confirmed with my wife that she had experienced the same thing, which left me astonished and doubly perplexed.
After these events, metaphysical and paranormal occurrences became more frequent and recurrent.
